ABOUT US

Discover Iraq. Be Amazed.

An Iraqi travel agency for people ready to discover the real Mesopotamia.

Based in Baghdad, Amaz started in 2008 with everyday travel and visa services. But our true passion soon shifted toward a bolder mission: bringing the world to Iraq and revealing the real beauty of our homeland.

From our very first group, we began building a living archive—thousands of authentic photos capturing real travelers at Ur, the Marshes, and Mutanabbi Street. This archive is our pride; we would rather show you two hundred real journeys than promise you one.

Guided by passionate local experts, we specialize in high-end customization and secure in-country operations. No matter how unique or complex your request, we maintain absolute control over every detail and security measure. Yet, through all our growth, our essence never changes: every journey ends exactly as it begins—with a warm cup of Iraqi tea.

Small groups only

Eight to sixteen travelers. Big enough for good company, small enough for a fisherman to invite everyone in.

Iraqi-led, start to finish

Your guide grew up here. Checkpoints, shrine etiquette, the best kebab in Samarra — handled.

Evidence over adjectives

Every claim on this site is backed by a stamped photo from a real trip. We never use stock photography of our own tours.

Straight answers

If a route is not sensible this season, we say so and offer the alternative. Trust is our only real product.
